San Diego songwriters were very popular on Acoustic Pie in February! Local veteran duo Berkley Hart was voted in twice: Once with a new arrangement of an early Calman Hart release at no. 9, and again with an old favorite of mine, “Lay Down Sunshine”, at no. 18. The adorable Sara Watkins is at no. 4, our fabulous local crooner Nathan Welden appears in the no. 15 spot and the charming Christiopher Dale is at no. 17.
I’m crazy about Christopher Dallman’s work, absolutely CRAZY, so I like to pretend that he’s from San Diego, but, actually, he’s based out of LA so I guess I can’t count him (voted in at no. 2 AND no. 17 this month!)
